Accor's Environmental Commitments From COP26

Our parent company, Accor, recently signed the Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism launched by the UN World Tourism Organization (UNTWO) on 4 November 2021. This means that we will deliver a comprehensive and actionable climate plan before the end of 2022 to halve our emissions by 2030 and achieve net zero by 2050.

In addition, Accor and the other members of the Sustainable Hospitality Alliance came together in November 2021 to announce a new Pathway to Net Positive Hospitality. Supported by the World Travel & Tourism Council, this initiative offers hotels a practical framework for reducing their environmental impact. Consisting of practical tools that are divided into four clear stages, the Net Positive Hospitality Pathway will guide hotels to lessen their impact on the planet and address critical issues such as water usage, waste reduction, and resource procurement as well as reducing emissions.
