How to Get to Sydney Airport
Staying with us before flying out from Sydney Airport? There are a few different ways you can travel around Sydney's airport precinct. In this guide we cover the various ways you can travel to Sydney Airport from your stay at Novotel Sydney International Airport.
How to get to Sydney International Airport
Heading overseas? Lucky you! When you're staying with us at Novotel Sydney International Airport, you have a few options to make your way across to the International Terminal at Sydney Airport.
The hotel is located approximately 1.5km from Sydney International, alongside the Cooks River and Cahill Park in Wolli Creek. Despite being so close to the airport, Sydney traffic can be unpredictable so it's worth leaving plenty of time to complete your travel.
Airport Shuttle
Sydney Super Shuttle operates a regular shuttle service between airport precinct hotels and Sydney Airport.
When you check in for your stay at Novotel Sydney International Airport, let the reception team know you'd like to get the airport shuttle and they can assist you with timetables and booking.

Taxi or Ride Share
Prefer to take a taxi or ride share to the airport? You can book ride shares such as Uber through the app on your mobile device. If you'd like to book a taxi, various taxi companies operate in Sydney and you can book directly with your preferred company, or speak to our friendly reception team for assistance.
Walk
The hotel is 1.5km from Sydney International and the walk takes approximately 20 minutes. When you exit the hotel onto Marsh St, you'll walk on a signposted pedestrian path across the bridge over the Cooks River. The pedestrian path then winds under the bridge, over the airport carpark, and through to the International Terminal.

How to get to Sydney Domestic Airport
If your travels are to elsewhere in Australia and you need to get to Sydney Domestic Airport, there are a couple of transport options for you.
Due to the size and layout of Sydney Airport, it's not possible to walk from the Domestic Termnals to the International Terminal. And because the hotel is on the International Terminal side of the airport, it's not possible to easily walk from the hotel to Sydney Domestic.
The best options for travelling from Novotel Sydney International Airport to Sydney Domestic are:
Airport Shuttle
Whether you're travelling to International or Domestic, Sydney Super Shuttle operates a regular shuttle service between airport precinct hotels to both sides of Sydney Airport.

Taxi or Ride Share

How to travel between Sydney International and Sydney Domestic Terminals
Did you end up at the wrong end of the airport? Never fear, there is both a bus (free) and train (paid) between Sydney International and Sydney Domestic.
Bus
The T-Bus (transfer bus) is a complimentary shuttle bus between International and Domestic Terminals. The T-Bus runs every 15 minutes between 05:30 and 21:30. Look for the signs to the T-Bus outside International and Domestic Arrivals.
Train
A train operates between Sydney International and Domestic Terminals. The train is part of Sydney's public transport system and you can find out about timetables and fares here.
